The Jean Perwin Memorial Fund was established in order to provide financial assistance to women law students, lawyers, and clients. Jean was committed to the success of woman lawyers and mentored many throughout her career. Two organizations have already established grant programs in Jean’s name – Boston College Law School and the Miami-Dade County Chapter of the Florida Association of Women Lawyers – and the Jean Perwin Memorial Fund for Legal Services has made a substantial contribution to The Lotus House Women’s Center in Miami, dedicated to its Legal Center.
